Remember that simple things like fresh eggs and milk were scarce. Both V and the TV producer had access to such "luxuries", but that didn't make them content. Even though they both could have taken care of themselves and lived in relative piece and wealth, they chose to work against the chancelor's regime... Too far fetched?
