I do know people who were raised atheist, but generally either by a single parent or an atheist couple. Certainly, atheism is possible the one religion that is entirely incompatible with Christianity, and the likelyhood is that a Christian parent would try as hard as possible to have their child raised as a Christian, or should become an atheist themselves. If they can't agree later, they couldn't agree in the first place.
