| Gentoo Problem! Help! |

I installed my new gentoo system via the instructions here. I then tried to boot my system and found several errors. I redid everything from scratch, catching many problems along the way. ...apparently I didn't find them all.
Where I'm stuck:
I get an error on startup after having gone through about 25-30 seconds of text scrolling up the screen (what appears to be a normal boot process) that says:
!!!Block device /dev/hda3 is not a valid root device...
!!!The root block device is unspecified or not detected.
Please specify a device to boot, or "shell" for a shell.
Any help would be appreciated. :-D |
