Question for the IT Ufies by emlaabs2006-03-24 11:39:52
Are you trying to change what messages by ChuckAB2006-03-24 11:47:17
no, after install in software (n/t) by emlaabs2006-03-24 14:41:39
Two possibilities: by ChuckAB 2006-03-24 14:51:56
  1. Search for the text you want to change in the Registry. I don't think it'll be found in there, but it's worth a shot.
  2. Search for the text you want to change in an "All Files" text search. Use the Windows File search tool and leave the filename blank and put the search text in the "A word or phrase in the file:" block. Make sure that you check all files and folders - including hidden and system files.
If you find the text in an .ini or other text configuration file, you're in luck. If not, you'll need a hex editor and hope that the change in checksum doesn't screw things up.
  3. Good luck.
Now it's time for me to go home.
