that your friend was *married* to someone with a job when she moved to another state and took the bar exam.

I'm not going to be married for another year, and who knows whether he'll have a job at that time. He doesn't now. And if he did, he'd need the money for himself, not to support me while doing more Not Working while studying for Yet Another bar exam in hopes of finding work somewhere in a state where I don't want to live that's miles away from any sort of employment that I'd actually want (most cheap places to live don't have much of a demand for music administrators or lawyers) just so I can afford to eat.
