I mean, with my SO 5000 miles away it's not really all that useful for birth control... but it does ease my cramps, and regulate my periods.
Though I would advise against Yasmin if your intent is period control rather than birth control. I was on it until very recently, and while my cramps had improved, my period was entirely unpredictable -- didn't even always start during the placebo week, and I often had mid-month spotting.
So I'm back to the stronger hormones (may need to get my psych to increase my zoloft prescription, but we'll see), which (when I was on them before) always resulted with my period starting on Tuesday during the placebo week, and ending sometime Thursday. Nice, short, and predictable. |
