| This week I haven't been able to stay on schedule. I've been watching what I eat (no strict diet--just portion control and more sensible choices than I'd prefer) and hitting the gym three days a week. (Baby steps.) A couple weeks ago, my elbow and shoulder started really bothering me, so I've had to curtail the lifting, but increased time on the stationary bike to compensate.
Problem is, this week I've been at a conference for 4 days and have had absolutely no time to work out. Tonight will be my first gym visit of the week. Worse, much of the conference focused on the quality of chocolate and on confectionary development for international markets. Yes, I had no choice but to sample (in the line of duty) many variations of sweet, semi-sweet and dark goodness (gotta love that dark goodness).
It ain't easy to get fit when you work for a candy company.
