  If all you want is a list of new files... by nix 2006-03-24 11:44:51
then just generate recursive directory listings before and after, and compare the two. On a *nix system, use "find /" or "ls -R" to list files, and "diff" to compare the two lists. DOS/Windows' "dir" command should have an equivalent recursive listing option, and you should be able to find an equivalent to "diff".
