Look at a pair of men's khakis and women's khakis- and I'm just talking basic, modest work pants, not a design to meant to "accentuate" certain features. Or a basic blouse/work shirt for a woman that is about the same size as a man. A formal gown or something embroidered, you can make your argument. Basic pants and basic sweaters, though, it's B.S. Workout clothes get this "discrimination" too sometimes. Warm-up pants are warm-up pants.
A frilly blouse costing more to dry clean I have no problem with. But a plain blouse, not particularly small (so you can't cite screwing up machine workflow at the drycleaners...) there's no excuse for charging more. |
