My SO pointed out to me the price difference between men's and women's clothing. Case in point: a pair of pants that has a male counterpart with a bit more material as men are generally larger then women. Price for the male version: $29.50.

Price for the smaller, "tailored" female version: $89.00

How do fashion designers and retailers get away with this?
