Need help with Apache by SnappingTurtle 2006-03-24 06:22:31
In previous versions of Apache that I have used, the error log simply contained whatever was spit out to STDERR in my Perl CGI's. Now Apache (or something else) adds a bunch of information to each line of output. For example (bolded stuff is the added information):
[Fri Mar 24 09:15:28 2006] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] [Fri Mar 24 09:15:28 2006] index.pl: commit ineffective with AutoCommit enabled at C:\\Documents and Settings\\miko\\My Documents\\perl\\idocslib\\dev/Apache/WebApp.pm line 143., referer: http://localhost/snapfiction/login.pl
I'd like to turn off that extra "useful information". I have my own system for using the error logs and I'd rather just see whatever was spit out to STDERR. I've looked through httpd.conf and I don't see anything indicating how to set if that stuff is spit out. Anybody know where/if it's set?
