(about "Firefox Market Share")
... Most large companies still use Internet Explorer, so using weekend surfing activities as a baseline for market share evaluations is going to miss out on a lot of IE use.
Odd enough, internet browsing is seen -by those large company HR-staff as "well, they need access to the 'net, but let's cut it down as much as we can"
Internet browsing thus SHOULD be a "free time activity" ( too bad that my people can find free time during the day, I'll have to find them something productive to do )
If "free time" activity takes place during (stolen, pirated?) office time, the office browser will be used, except for those who are able to choose. But most aren't (as in: need tons of extra "rights" before you can install something)
But I don't mind: for ME FF seemt to work, most of the time, and the IE doesn't have a RadialContext plugin, nor tabbedbrowsing. I don't care -any more- about it coming up faster or not. |
