bugger, forgot bout that. The thousands is ... weeeeeeell, not necessarily. say you renitng 20 CPUs for a day. 20 x 1 x 12 = 220 USD. So yeah, it is quite the monitary investement. Let's build our own cluster. Some dude is buying up alot of those MSNTV boxes. The ones with the Intel CPU can be hacked to run linux. they sell for about 20 USD on ebay. suck barely any power. ok, celeron 700 is not that powerfull but with 50 of them. :)
