How do we keep the memory of the Holocost surviors by Garrinka2006-01-24 17:42:47
I had relatives who survived by notdeadyet 2006-01-24 18:57:02
the death camps. They are all gone now. They didn't really talk much about their experiences when I was young. I believe that for them, it was a horror that was unspeakable. Perhaps it would help, if a survivor would share their story (edited according to age) with the children. If they understand the horror, perhaps they will find a way to make sure it doesn't happen again.

For those who want to keep those stories from children - well, there are children living lives like that, even now. Their hope is that the "free" children will find a way to save them. They can't do it if they don't know the evil exists.
