You can click start/knoppix/network config and reconfigure it, or if there are multiple NICs it asks you to choose which one to reconfigure. You can also get a USB key and create a knoppix home folder on it, then put in the key before booting to knoppix. One of the codes you boot with tells the OS to look for the key, and it reloads your custom desktop with your files and such.
