Our boss knows he's having an affair, he talks to his girlfriends in front of everyone (and recently added a girl from my building to his list of lovers). I once made the mistake of saying one of the girlfriend's names outloud (as in, "Sure $name, here he is") and he freaked. Granted, I wouldn't have done this if I hadn't known the name in the first place, but his freaking out told me that he really didn't want whoever was on the phone to know that we know who they are. If I had his address, I'd send his wife the note. It really turns my stomache to think of her being in the dark (or even partly in the dark). I wish now I had (the one time I did talk to her) given her my email addy.
