I hate American engineering units. One of my courses right now seems to divide its time between actually teaching us about chemical process analysis and teaching us how to convert stuff from SI into SAE. Every time we start a new chapter in the course material, my first thought is, "okay, how many lectures is the prof going to spend on unit conversions?"
