In quite a few states posession of such a shotgun is legal so long as it is registered as a short barreled weapon, you pass the FBI rectal exam, and pay the $200 fee. I could move 20 miles and legally own full-auto, silenced, and short barreled long arms. I just might in 4.5 years too.
