At first I dropped a dish, I was petrified Kept thinking I would lose my job Be homeless, live outside But then I spent so many shifts Watching you get orders filled And I grew skilled Now my customers are thrilled And they come back In larger groups I just walked in to find them here Asking for our special soups When they feel like dropping in I'm the one they ask to see No other waitress serves as well And that's why they come to me Oh, hello. Walk in the door Grab any table now Today, my section's number four Gratuity added if your party's six or more But don't let that stop you Other servers might be shy Oh no, not I! I will serve five!
