Is there a boot disc that can write to NTFS? by shorty82 2005-12-19 19:41:13
Tomorrow I'm thinking I'll finally swap out my motherboards (current one has a screwy HDD controller).

I have two hard drives, both formatted NTFS. I have data on my system drive I need to get transferred to my other drive before I format the system drive so I can reinstall Windows.

I'd rather not have to put a FAT32 partition on my second drive if I can help it. I don't want to risk losing the data that is on there already and I'd rather not go to that trouble for only a few files.
