the mac prints just fine. I triple-checked the sharing settings to make sure that it's set to share printers (it is). And my PC seems certain that it's connected to the printers... it just won't actually print.
It's driving me nuts!
Worst case scenario, I do have a switcher for USB devices, so I can just use that to switch which computer is using the printer, but using that is such a pain because I essentially have to plug the USB hub into it (as the laptop only has one USB port and the mac only has 4, and 2 of those are claimed by input devices), so it basically means that in order for one computer to have access to either printer, it has to also take away that other computer's access to the USB external drives. Rather sucks, but at least it works.
I'd rather just get the network working, though. :( |
