Lewis said several times things that meant he would basically not market the Narnia works as Christian as Disney and Walden have done. He wrote several essays pointing out that because people - including some over-worldly kids - object to a lot of the Church iconography and rituals, the raw ideas often need to be presented in other ways. I firmly believe that his estate have sold out against his wishes to Disney's and Walden's marketing methods.
