...I'm saving all I can into an online savings account, separate from my regular bank. Out of sight, out of mind. Combining that with my tax refund and throwing a largish wad at low/no interest debt, and a smallish bit toward starting a retirement account. My brother used to work for Checkfree, which does a lot of the online bill pays. I'd rather have it all done electronically rather than rely on some clerical moron to post the payment manually. Of course the Chicago area postal system is of questionable integrity/reliability, so I trust the banking computers more than I do sending stuff by paper.
