if they won't sign a delivery date i wouldn't even -dream- of working with them from a designers standpoint. i know a number of subs at my old job wouldnt' work w/o specific dates, and if they couldnt' work on the dates scheduled they might charge for the hours that they couldn't work. (barring weather related delays)
