| My venerable, loved Palm IIIxe handheld has been randomly hard resetting itself after years of faithful service. This morning marks the third such instance. Fortunately, after the first, I've been synchronizing more regularly, and data replacement is minor.
The batteries are fine (>50% charge) and it hasn't received any above-normal jars, bumps, shocks, etc.
I suppose the question now is whether to find a direct replacement (because I like having a user-replaceable power source, and it might be cheaper) or upgrade to a new, shiny Palm T|X.
