seeing that "yellow journalism" would be that agreeing with $powers_that_be, which are currently right wing. The job of journalists is to expose governmental wrongdoings, which would then tend to be left-wing in slant. Only because the lefties are not in power, and thus not in as much of a position to do exposable wrongdoings.
