I think Clinton was retaliation for Nixon, as well as making the Democrats wary of impeachment. Personally, I don't know where it would stop. Everyone who is in line to take over the presidency is involved, so who would be president? I just hope that the Republicans have learned something, and won't let a minority of radicals railroad them into nominating electing someone so extreme. If John McCain gets the nomination, I'll say that they have, because even though I disagree with him on many issues, and probably wouldn't vote for him because of that (depending on who gets the Democratic nomination), I believe that he's a decent person and will do things for what he thinks is the good of the country, and not the good of the party.
