but at the end his message (not the style he's presenting it) is in my eyes more than true.
The books are already overchristianized, but the movie is (in my eyes, again) very close to propaganda.
Chosing christmas time for the first movie was the best idea to make the people not so much upset with it. Imagine the premiere of it, say in next June.
The next movies will be much more excepted (sadly). And it's really a pity that they spent a good render power over that movie instead of a next Ice Age or Shrek movie... which would be far more fun, better suitable for family movie, and not as much controverse and/or against equal rights for everyone (here: based on religion).
Just IMHO, that all... |
