...transfers sound and video to another machine? Not to access the computer from another (like VNC and Remote Desktop), but you work locally on the computer and the software pushes sound and video to another computer as a presentation. So you could just set the laptop on the conference room desk and give a proper presentation without having to pull cables across entire room and (usually) reboot the laptop to get it to recognize a new display.

I know some projectors can be networked, but those are expensive and do nothing for the sound. I also saw while beta testing Vista a piece of software allowing to either broadcast or connect to a network presentation. So I guess there could also be a software solution to push sound & video to a computer acting as a projector.
