World Community Grid: Team User Friendly by Didactylos 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Congratulations! We have reached the top 1000 teams - #947 to be precise. Thank you all for crunching. Our next target will be top 500. At the moment, it is unclear if we will reach this before or after passing 1000,000 points, before or after the new year. Place bets now!

The World Community Grid is a grid computing project whose mission "[...] is to create the world's largest public computing grid to tackle projects that benefit humanity." Their current projects are FightAIDS@Home and the Human Proteome Folding Project.

After you have got the client up and running, please join Team User Friendly.

Current top ten (Full stats):

Iarann 28,309

This will be a daily post, if there are no objections. Please, come and help out. I really can't think of a better use for my spare CPU cycles, or yours either.
