Hasnt tried to secularize itself to any real degree. Kids still get off school for religious holidays. Our leadership still intones a prayer at the beginng of each legislative session our leaders are more and more espousing thier views on religion, using religious issues to sway voters. Forcing religious ideals through our school systems allowng public zelots in office to use thier power to affect legislsation. Not to mention our wackjob celebrities who are useing thier fame to promote thier whackjobedness.
