Most new FPS games are stressful rather than stress relief. Sam on the other hand has no sneaking around or worrying about only being able to carry a realistic amount of ammo, just hordes of monsters running at you, dual weild miniguns and a huge great big pile of bullets. That is anger managment. It's the only modern FPS I've seen that feels like the old doom games when you play it.
