A good page explaining URL's by SnappingTurtle 2005-11-29 11:39:38
I'm looking for a good page, preferably from a respected authority, on how http URL's are structured, including an explanation of relative URL's.

The documentation should not require the user to learn about the detailed concepts of URI's in general, mailto, ftp, or gopher protocols, or other information that may be useful but distracting from the main goal of learning how to construct an http URL.

Suggestions?
