Our water broke, but we made a little dyke, by klaranth2006-11-19 12:55:59
difference in Life time and more by ahrodie 2005-11-29 09:02:56
The difference is in the detail.
a) In cheap machines some important parts don't have the same life time as in a Brand machine. That means you'll need a new one much sooner as if you bought a better machine.
b) These machines often lack water/energy-saving programs for "not-so-dirty" laundry and/or their water and energy usage in normal washing programs is higher.

I was working in some projects regarding environmental friendlyness of products - especially washing machines. What I got out of these projects for me: If I buy a new washing machine I'll get one of a brand I know (Whirlpool is one of them). And it pays off to pay more when purchasing the machine, because you'll save the money while you use it because you'll need less water and thus less energy and the machine will last longer without large defects.

I'd suggest you'll go for the Whirlpool!!!

Good luck with the new machine!
