and over priced here in the US. (thypically the low end starts at about $500US. One of my high school (25 years ago) buddies runs his own appliance repair business and since i will be in the market soon for a washer i asked his recommendation on front loader. He recommeded the Electrolux ( sold by Frigidaire here in the US) for the most trouble free model - in his experience. Lowe's is a national chain that carries the Electrolux versions of front loading washers.
