Upgrade questins to pose, by XndeX 2005-11-29 08:36:16
I have recently come to the conclusion that it's Time to do some upgrading.
My current system specs:
Asus A7N8X-Deluxe
Creative Labs Live 5.1
Geforce 4 TI4200 @ 8X AGP with 64 Meg
Athlon 2800 XP
512 Mb DDR @ 333 / 2700
1 40 GB IDE drive
1 80 GB SATA drive
1 CDRW 24X40X24 I think
1 DRD RW 8X

So I'm looking to upgrade to play some of the latest games and not have them look like a slide show.
I was looking at a G force 6600 with 256 MB
This card was $110.00 for a PCI-E and $150.00 For an AGP 8X.

If I get the PCI-E I need a new motherboard.
I found a combo deal for all 3 (motherboard CPU and Vid) for $349.00

The CPU was a athlon 64 3000 the motherboard was a ASUS SLI board. I forget the model.

So do I go for the Combo or the Vid Card or do I do something totally different?

*probably not going to act on this for 2 months maybe 3*

Later,

X
