is Finland, Iceland and some other islands.

Icelandic was the same as Norse in the medievals, so it is pretty closely related.

Samish is not related to germanic languages, only to some nomad's languages in northern Russia.


And apropos nothing, the word barbarian refers to somebody speaking something romans could not understand. It sounded just like barbarbarbar.
