i've got a idea brewing about building myself a Home Theater machine to live by the TV and capture stuff for me, i've got enough hardware to build a decent machine for the purpose* but hard drive space might be a bit of a problem, as all i've got available are 3 40Gig drives and i'd like a little more than 40Gig to capture stuff on, so that's where the raid 0 question comes in.
unfortunately, it will have to run windows neither mythtv or freevo support the GATOS tv input stuff for the all in wonder cards
*Athlon XP 1900+, 512Meg of ram and a All in Wonder 8500DV, I think I even have a Sound Blaster live kicking about somewhere :) (all old hardware, all recently displaced in a upgrade with the exception of the sblive) |
