But they couldn't get anything done. On points of policy, the Bloc and NDP are too far to the left for the Conservatives and their consituency. They'd bicker all winter, the press gallery would have a field day, and the opposition do themselves more damage by highlighting their differences. And when the Left and Right look extreme, the Liberals win again at the Centre.
