I used to work for a toy store (I quit not too long after Black Friday). I remember that before I quit (a week or so after Black Friday) I was on register. I saw what I thought was a nice family outing. Mom, daughter and granny waiting in line. I said, "Next please" and all three came up and I still thought they were together. Then, it happened.
Mom: Excuse me, we were first.
Granny: No, I was next!
Mom: No, we were.
Me: Uh, you three weren't together?
Granny: No, of course not. I was next!
A verbal arguement between Mom and Granny broke out and we agreed to have granny go first. I appologized to the mother when it was her turn, but man was that ugly. It could have been worse, with actual physical fighting.
