Unfortunately I overlooked that when using dselect to upgrade packages, and I didn't tell dselect not to upgrade those items; it wound up trying to install a version that was actually (in parts) older than what I had installed before.

That'll teach me to automatically upgrade a system that's already working perfectly well, I guess.
