having a TV? What it gives you is more choice. You are no longer limited to a few stations all catering to the same 'sweet spot' in the demographics. You actually could end up watching something you like! And not get high blood pressure from getting annoyed at lousy ads.

If you happen to be in the demographic that is the 'sweet spot', then you probably don't have anything to complain about. But if you don't, it can be very difficult to find something good on.

What you pay for a license offers more choice. What's wrong with having more choice?
