yes, because pretty much all offices	by voxwoman	2005-11-25 07:51:08
are closed, as is the government, leaving them a "free" day to go shopping during the week. The stores figured this out, and are open extra hours today. Additionally, this is the traditonal beginning to the Xmas shopping season, as far a retailers are concerned. So every store is having "massive" sales today. I must foray out for food at the grocery store, but I will avoid all brick and mortar retailers until after Xmas.
