That's the main (array of) satellite(s) used in Germany. Sometimes Eutelsat is used also.

You'll usually need a satellite receiver to change the signal frequency to something your TV will understand. There are two kinds analog and digital. What you'll need depends on the LNB (the pick-up part) on the dish.

That's at least how I understand that stuff. But I don't have a satellite dish and the last one I installed (at my parents) house was about 12 years ago...
