3 guitars (1 electric, 1 acoustic, 1 old),
1 bass guitar (go out and get one, they are easy fun),
1 ukelele (don't buy the all-cheap ones, check for correct fret positions!)
3 syntheshizers (collected over the years),
1 trumpet (no, I cannot get a single decent tone out of it, but it's always worth the try),
4 mouth harps of varying condition, style and quality,
1 recorder (yeah, once was a child, too)
2 tin whistles (I tend to prefer them over recorder now)
1 5-tone kalimba (really just a toy)
1 shaker tube (handy if you go without a drummer)
some claves, jew's harp, okarina, tamburine rim, drum sticks and general random stuff.
Obviously I'm a bit short on the percussion side and I'll definitely start to change that as soon as I know where to use that stuff and, more important, where to store it. And I guess I will also go for a tenor sax, but probably not within the next few years. |
