Finally got to the REBOOT portion of my Gentoo install.

"File not found"

Uh-oh. - Reboot back to CD and discover that I had named the path to the kernel wrong. Fixed. Also added frame buffer commands.

*REBOOT*

Blank screen with cursor blinking in upper left corner (there should be a splash screen here).
Hit [ENTER].
Corrupted display.
I can almost read the text on the screen - the last line says "kernel panic" and something else that I can't read.
<sigh>
Ah well - I'll go do something else now. I might put a Stage 3 on and see what happens....
