When I working out everyday I kept a log going. One day per page of the notebook. One line per work out. Name of excercise, weight, rep1, rep2, rep3, rep4.

As for the walking bit. Couldn't help ya. I guess write down the time it takes each time.

Keeping a log is a great way to help yourself out. When you hit that wall of thinking it's just not worth it then you can look back to day 1 through whatever and see your progress. That helped alot for me.
