when I was on the phone with tech support troubleshooting a harddrive issue.
They wanted me to crack the case and look at something on the inside. So, I started unplugging all of the connections on the back of the computer, while continuing to chat "with" the technician.
Yes, I was using a modem at the time, and yes, my phone was daisy-chained through the modem, and yes, I disconnected both phone lines connected to the modem.
It took me about 3 minutes to realize I had accidentally disconnected my support tech.
