...was on the legal precedents regarding equal opportunity and religious org's hiring practices. The PP bit was one little jab toward the end.

The original article in the TLP cited NOTHING in terms of why the judge ruled the way he ruled. I figured putting the applicable precedents out there would give the TLP some much needed background to the issue.

And if you mean to lump "preferential treatment" in universities and government contracts as part of the "general policies" to reduce discrimination, I wholeheartedly disagree with you there. You want "equal treatment" here, but not "there?"
