Despite loads of small religious charities quietly doing charitable work without incident and without discrimination claims, one side is bringing up Salvation Army exercising its rights under the law, the action being something a fair chunk of people don't agree with.
And despite the fact that Planned Parenthood provides free/reduced birth control and counseling services for many people (hopefully avoiding many abortions to start with), they ARE a pro-choice organization, and they receive federal funds despite a fair chunk of people not agreeing with their practices, either, though they're exercising their legal rights, too.
Both organizations do loads of good, and by virtue of their size and reach, both are going to offend somebody, somewhere. |
